The KwaDukuza Organised Residents Alliance (“KORA”)

The KwaDukuza Organised Residents Alliance (KORA) is an apolitical civil society alliance representing over 40,000 households from Zimbali to Tinley Manor, Nkobongo, and Shayamoya.

KORA includes the keystone member, the Dolphin Coast Residents and Ratepayer’s Association (DOCRRA), as well as the ratepayers associations from Tinley Manor, Blythedale, and Zinkwazi, the KwaDukuza Residents Forum (KDRF), iLembe Civic Action Movement (ICAM), the KwaDukuza Business Forum (KBF) and Ihawu Lethu.

Below is a summary of the Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) between all the parties of KORA. The purpose of the MOU is to establish a framework for impactful collaboration and cooperation between the Parties on issues of mutual interest, and to drive their missions forward, for the betterment of the community of KwaDukuza, while maintaining their independence and autonomy. This alignment is to enhance the strength and effectiveness of the partnership to achieve its common goals.

Memorandum of Understanding

The Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) is for the entity referred to as KwaDukuza Organised Residents Alliance (“KORA”) and outlines the terms of collaboration between The Dolphin Coast Residents & Ratepayers Association (“DOCRRA”), and non-political, non-religious, and non-racist civic organisations representing KwaDukuza residents.

KORA will not have any legal status. It is simply an alliance.
