NOT RECEIVING RESPONSES FROM KDM DUE TO POST BOX REMOVED?
Legislation requires KDM to send out notices via normal post, however, the rates department is trying to also get the notices out via emails however, currently they do not have an ETA for this process. It is the responsibility of the property owners to ensure that the municipality has the correct postal information as notices will always be sent to the address provided.
In order for objectors/ratepayers to get a timely response or assistance, it has been suggested that they direct an email to the following officials from the Rates department requesting an electronic copy of the notice if possible. Alternatively, the rates department would be in a position to advise on the outcome or status of the objection with clear instructions on the timelines and procedures for lodging an appeal should the objector/owner so desire.
